So you think you live in the state with the best Kayak Anglers?  Well here's your chance to prove it.  Check it out at this LINK.

Let the trash talking begin, but be prepared to back it up on May 31 and June 1.

B-R-I-N-G  I-T  O-N!!!  You're going to need your best game to keep up with the Washington Crew.

Allen:

CBY:
Well, the main problem is that they are not actually trout. It's in the Drum and Croaker family, but everybody knows them (at least down here) as Speckled Trout.

Bummer Wali, and thats a funky looking fish..It's like "Jaws..the Trout"
See ya on the water..

Wally, put me in contact with the admin at your favorite southern kayak fishing site ... perhaps we can do a southern division or concurrent Feuds.

Guys, this is a totally casual deal ... bragging rights at stake mostly.  The nominal entry fee is just so there is some skin in the game.

-Allen

This is  "friendly competition" Southern style:

Hmmm ... signups are very low for this event ... too low in fact.  Am considering canceling the money portion of things.  Don't worry, if you signed up, I'll return your entry in full.  Bragging rights are still at stake.

Who's planning on going up to Cle Elum this weekend?

oh well,  I was thinking about hitting a few lakes along the coast between Coos bay and Florence , particularly Siltcoos,Carter and Tahkenitch and try my luck for some trout.

But with the low sign-up  and the good ocean condition predictions I might just go out on the ocean. Depends on what the Coos Bay crew wants to do.
See ya on the water..

Bummer... :angry2: Although a money tourney is funner I guess a tourney for bragging rights is a tourney none the less. I'll be headed out twice this weekend. Sat for CleElum and then gonna drop off the X in Portland @ Phynix's and another spot on the way back.... WAF pending of course. ;D

CBY, you gonna let OR go out like that? ;)

Umm, probably... :-\ .

I might try for some trout on Saturday, been wanting to try Siltcoos for a long time. Rack up some Freshwater points.

Then hit the Big Blue on Sunday to bump up my Saltwater points..

A 500 point weekend..... ;D ;)  Right Brian?

That's a lot of driving Z.  Want company?

The girlfriend is out for this weekend and I have the whole weekend to play.   ;D  I'm sure we could find some good fishing somewhere along the Cle Elum->Portland->Seattle loop.
