More airport love!!

Finally got lucky at the Gleason ramp after 8 hours on the hook watching boat after boat hook up yesterday.  A nice 32" bright hen.

Such a rush coming off anchor to do battle.  I don't think that could ever get old.

Nice job,one.Were ya able to find a spot on you own or did ya hogline it?

Started out on the most inside spot on the line pretty close to the ramp and as people limited, I moved deeper and finally got in the right lane.

Might have to try that...the new parking lot makes it look like an easy jaunt to the fish...my"take a less fishy spot to stay out of the crowd" mode ain't workin too good. What depth was the magical"lane" at? Thanks...    again,beauty fish!

That remodel of the Gleason ramp looks REALLY nice!

The new facilities at the ramp are awesome. Lots more car parking and crappers a plenty. 

I fished 36-37 fow.  The best spots just keep going off.  It's really painful to watch if you are not in the right lane. 

Unfortunately as I went out again this morning looking to get lucky (greedy?), all the spots were packed pre-dawn.  I'm not at the point where I can drop anchor accurately in the dark and slot between 2 boats.

Way to go.

Nice fish! Looks like you got it on a wobbler. The crowds stop looking at you funny in your kayak after you catch a fish, I noticed. Awesome perseverance being out there for 8 hours. I think I'll be out on the water there again on Monday.

Yeah, I saw a LOT of boats out there in that spot this morning while on my way to work.  Seems like everyone now knows there are some biters coming though.
