Well I was loading the Kayak for the upcoming ORC and found a very unpleasant surprise. The recent heat wave seems to have  warped the bottom rear hull on a my  Revo 13.  Anyone ever have this happen before? And if so how did you fix it?  The warping is slight to moderate. Or would be be best to leave it alone.not sure how much this would hurt the performance or primary/secondary stability.

Flip it over, bottom side up in the sun for a few hours it should pop back out.

And if this doesn't work on it's own (it often does) search for the Hobie YouTube video of how to use a little hot water and air pressure the hull to remove big (big) dents.

Everything will be all right in the end, so if it's not all right, then it's not yet the end.

Not quite the same, but if I'm hauling my Revo 13 on a hot day, it'll kinda bend around the cart (like, the stern end of the boat will sag a bit). It always pops back as soon as I take it off the cart though. This has been happening a lot more now that I have a sidescan unit which prevents me from placing the cart where I placed it before.

Thanks Upland I wil give turning it upside down a try. It was stored on a Kayak sling stands supported in very bow and stern points. It seems that the warping is only on the right side from about the rear hatch back. That's the side that got the most sun is my thinking. I was able to get some pool noodles in there and push it out a bit for now. I'm going to give it a test run at Hagg lake tomorrow sometime. See how it handles. The odd thing is the heat didn't bother the PA14 one bit. Its a beige the Revo is Yellow go figure? Then again the PA is also  built like a tank.
