Heard a few familiar voices on channel 69, but also a lot of garbled noise. Was anyone else picking up a bunch of incoherent jibberish on 69 yesterday?

Congrats on the big ling.  Yes, I was hearing the same thing.  Seemed like most of the radio traffic was garbled, but I heard several people in our group clearly.

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Copy, thanks James! Yeah, I could hear the kayakers clearly too. But most of the "talk" over 69 yesterday was a a gibberish mess. I thought someone was messing around, but it went on for hours.
