Out at whiskey gulch this weekend

Hey everyone. I'm out fishing! Twenty pounder in the yak so far ( halibut ) I'll be here through Monday am. Seeing salmon jump too! Weather and seas are awesome right now

 Did you get a chance to catch any kings this year?I know it was a dismal run all over southcentral.

 Gotta say I sure miss fishing for reds up there..........

  What were the final results from the Anchor Point Derby ? Did any kayakers score this year ?

I got one king this spring.

And the derby got canceled the day we all showed up. I don't think any of us fished the do over one

Good for you Matt; nice fish. Glad to see you got after the halibut. I fished out of Whittier yesterday, but no love from the silvers. No jumpers even! Back to Resurrection Bay for me...

Here's some more pictures. I ended up keeping a 20-25 pounder, a 15 and two 10's. Weather was super nice both days. I completely forgot sunblock cause that's usually not a concern !

Sounds like a blast!  I can taste the fish and chips already.
