KBF merged Northwest and West regions

Kayak Bass Fishing KBF has merged two regions into one. The northwest region was having trouble with entries and the few bass guys in the region couldn't get enough anglers to get a qualifying spot. So thanks to the handy work of Facebook and a post the our own Jordan Parker can remember his name here..ha..and a bunch of us in idaho that spoke up we know have a Super northwest region!!
 This is really awesome for the progression of this silly sport! What has started as little is turning huge quick!
 I know a few of you have entered and even tho you didn't have enough last month fear not cuz now you can stack up those oregon and Washington smallies up to the rest and see what happens!!
 These online events are fun to do! I have done them for a while and had a good time and it's neat to keep track of your catch as well. Check out tourneyx.com for registration and KBF membership.
 The reason behind the online events is for a spot in the national championship in Tennessee.

Thank you everyone for the support in the merger. This is most likely the best move KBF could have done as of right now for these regions.

Here are some of the benefits that KBF listed:

1.       Easier to reach the minimum thresholds to compete and win
2.       More choices on where to fish
3.       One KBF National Championship Qualifying slot per month for the combined Super-Region, which increases to 2 when you pass 50 registrants.
4.       More competitors means more of a challenge to win that one slot (where there were fewer competitors vying for two slots, originally)
5.       One bonus rather that two (one per region) if a KBF BONUS BUCKS participant takes first place.
6.       One $50 cash prize when the combined number reaches 30 rather than one for each region.

I hope this great news will encourage more anglers to participate in these regional events. can't wait to see what everyone will be bringing to the table!! We have a nice roster for the JULY tournament, so lets make this a great start to a new SUPER Region!!

There ya go! At least Jordan is on top of the important side of things...lol...this is an awesome opportunity to get involved. And you will pretty much be guaranteed a chance to fish, especially now that it's a super region!!
 We already have two idaho boys qualified, and plan on more...hehe. and something to remember is if previously qualified anglers win a second time or more their qualifying spot rolls over to the next angler, because they are already qualified. Just saying.
