Now's a great time to go fill some coolers with hooligan to use for your shrimp pot bait, your halibut bait, and you could even try brining and trolling a few during this time of the spring for kings that are hitting them as they move into and up Cook Inlet.

Sunday afternoon along the highway produced this load for Donnie and his crew. And the run is just beginning!!

Looks like I'll be making at stop on my way down to the Calcutta Tourney Friday. (I was able to pay the registration fee online and email the registration form to them.)

Thanks KK!

This was a group that was fishing Sunday afternoon with a handful of other folks scattered up and down the roadside doing well too.

I'll bet Tuesday the area will be packed now that the word is spreading. I posted it on FB 5 hours ago and its already reached 7500 people. I'm sure 10-15,000 will get the word by the end of tomorrow. Very popular fishery for a lot of harvesters.
