Ocean Kayak Fans - Prowler 13T or Trident 13?

This question is probably directed to OK anglers, but if you think there is a better all around 13-14' paddle kayak out there in a comparable price range, please chime in.

What are the functional differences between the Ocean Kayak Prowler 13T equipped w/Rod Pod and 
the Trident 13 Angler w/Modular Fishing Pod?  They look to be identical in length and width.

I'm trying to arrange demo's of these two kayaks asap. I'm also looking at a used 2010 Prowler 13T w/RodPod online that has a very appealing price tag. Thanks!

I have read that your butt sits lower in the Prowlers. Not sure that's true.

It has always been my understanding that the prowler is no rod pod and the trident is with rod pod. If they both have rod pod then they are the same boat just different years.

It's confusing marketing is what it is.

The Prowler 13T is a Trident hull.  It has the basic rod pod vs. the mod pod on the Trident 13.  It is slightly cheaper.  The 13T is sold at "big box stores" only,  whereas the Trident 13 is pushed to the "specialty shops".
