Sunday, 4/20, would be better for me as well. It'd help me meet my soccer dad obligations...

I can make Sunday the 20th instead of Saturday the 19th.  I think that means two more folks could attend.  Somebody through out the 19th and I just jumped on it to get this thing going, if Sunday's better, let's make it the 20th.

Thanks for the poll Brian.

I'm going to bump this back to the top so we can get back to planning.  Right now we're looking at Sunday and maybe Henry Hagg Lake according to the poll.

Any concerns or objections?  Ideas on when and where to meet?

Hagg lake seems to be picking up from earlier this spring when I was out there last.  Some folks are actually catching thier limits and I think they are stocking today. So my vote is for Hagg.  There's a lot of parking at Boat Ramp C, and you have a nice point and 2 coves to explore real close.  You can paddle to the dam also, but it's a bit of a trip.

It sounded like Sunday (the 20th) would be a better day for most folks, which works for me.

The weather isn't looking too promising for this weekend, so maybe want to put a smaller "window" on the tournament.  Maybe run it from 9-12 or 10-1 or something?

Does anybody ever use those little two way radios?  The ones with 20 channels or so?  Wonder if we could "run" the tournament with those?  I.e. "Scott, here, I just caught the first fish.  Bring me my $5 suckers!"  I have a pair of them, and can loan one out, but if others have some they typically use the same channels from what I've observed deer hunting before".

Someone's gotta inject the wuss factor into this weekend and broach the subject of delaying this tourney. I just received a severe weather warning for the weekend--with the worst of it on Sunday--that includes cold temperatures and snow possible down to 500 feet.

Go ahead and laugh. Camaraderie is great, and I'm *probably* still game, but this has the makings for a miserable day of fishing.  :-[

Sounds like a good day to introduce Brian to more of the local brewpubs ...

Oh, I'd be down for that.

You know, there are a lot of nice brew pubs within a couple of stone throws of a few of the Willamette holes,,,,,,,

Hey this isn't some fair weather California derby. This is a Puddle-Town mini-tourny!  I'm still game and a  little rain doesn't scare me.  Remember there is no bad weather, just bad clothing.

Sounds like we're on, regardless of the weather, which I'm cool with.  Hey you should dress for immersion anyways, it shouldn't matter if the waters coming from above or below!  At least we'll all be on the same (cold wet) playing field, and if you gotta wait for nice weather round here you'll miss a lot of fishin.

Now...where did I put that thermos and brandy.

Did folks settle on a location?  I was supposed to be doing some traveling for work this weekend, but the weather has led to my canceling the trip.  So my weekend is free, and the weather sounds about the same as the last couple trips to Multnomah Channel that I participated in.

What about Drano again?

3WT - Dont' know that an official decision has been made, but don't think there's a process to make one.  The 'vote' at the top was Hagg, so I'm thinking we should stick with that, so people can get their plans and gear in order.

I'm tempted to try Drano on Saturday if the numbers are still there (took a drop yesterday) if your interested in giving that a try.  But bad weather in the gorge is a lot different than bad weather on Hagg so keeping a close watch on it.

You know I really didn't want to say it, and I figured Mike must be bringing the family up to picnic, because he'd never WUSS OUT because of a little weather! Would he? ;D And most certainly not when some wannabee florida boy who's just visiting is still in? Not the same Mike who laughs at the stairs at Beverly Beach and who's hull I have looked up at from a trough of a swell in the open Pacific?  Say it ain't so! Come on, I'll even do the secret fish dance.

I'm out for Sunday.  Have to take a friend kayak fishing for his 1st time and he wants something bigger than trout....  But I'll be there for you in spirit my friends.

It's kind of a bummer cause FFTW is PDX KF OG.  One of these days I'll hook up with you for some fishing Wali.  I still have a hidden Rockfish and Ling reef to share with you.
