Glad to hear Jay got some practice in after I left with the family.

So where did move the knife placement to?

Had to cook for a party last night so I didn't get to mess with gear much.  I've got a Gerber river shorty knife on that vest, and the placement of the lash tabs sucks for knife mounting.  I may try it again in the same general area, but wrap some duct tape around the tip of the sheath (I hear duct tape fashion is all the rage on Paris) so that it slides over things rather than catching on them.  The only other option is to mount it sideways on the lash tab, which would be worse for snagging on things.

It was good to see Bsteves, 3wt and Alkasazi again. I thought I could be there by noon but I don't get up early very easily. I did get to see Brian (Bsteves) change a diaper in the trunk of his car!!! Happy Birthday INSAYN, sorry I missed you.

As others have said, flipping the Big Game isn't easy, but it is possible. By the time you get to that point, you've had lots of time to hop out and prevent losing all your gear. Getting back in, even with a bulky PFD was pretty straight forward, probably due to the stability.

Hey Brian (Alkasazi), thanks for the chat. Although the boat takes on a bit of water every trip, it works as advertised and worth every penny. Thanks for providing the good deals as they come up.

Thanks to all for organizing and the company.

Thanks for the b-day wishes folks.  37 years young now.

Hopefully we'll get to meet up for a float soon.
