The current proposed date is Oct 31....yup that's right. Halloween folks.

We apologize for this date. The NW Chapter of Heroes On The Water will be busy the following weekend at the Auburn Veterans Day Parade. Last year the week before was a bit too early. But it is not set in stone.

We'd like to get a consensus to see if we still would have participants show up. Our goal is 50 participants. We would still plan to have a potluck the night of the tournament and maybe throw in some Halloween fun while we're at it.

Or we just schedule for Oct 24th. What say you?

Poll?

I really want to try this one.  My vote would be the 31st.  Can't make the 24th.  Besides, I'd rather fish around more fish than less as might be the case here.

Special prize for best Costume?

  That's a great idea.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

31st works for me.  I would rather fish around more fish and most activities are later in the day anyway.

My guess is a lot of guys with kids won't be able to make it on Halloween (myself included).  So the 24th would be my vote.  Also, keep in mind that all of nature seems to be 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule this year.... there may be more fish than we are used to seeing by then.

OK kids gather 'round, it's time to bob for salmon heads.
