2015 Salmon SlayRide Derby

For those who will be staying the weekend, the IGA store will be having trick or treating in their parking lot from 5-7 PM.  Stop by for the fun.

Any thoughts around rescheduling due to weather?  A little rain is fine but I see 15-20mph winds possible.  I'll likely bail because driving 11 hours round trip for those conditions is a little rough!!

Yeah I was planning to tie off to the dock and just float out a little ways.  With that kind of wind I don't think we'll be going to far.

Do the rules say that we HAVE to be in our Kayak???  just joking.

  Gotta agree with Dino on that. You should have the gear on that rain won't matter. "Dress for immersion".  Those 2-4' wind waves could make things a bit "sporty" but no one will be too far offshore. At least they don't need to be-- the fish will be in close.

  I haven't seen anything much about the potluck
  I'll bring some kind of side dish to help fill in where I can.
  Any requests ? Maybe a pot roast

Wind from WSW14mph isn't enough to keep me away!  Plus I have a new weighted treble to test out!

Leaving snoqualmie pass at noon to prefish today. Should be some fun weather!   If the weather is too bad, we always have hottub and moonshine! See all you warriors out there.

Ill be on my way shortly.   First I have to untie my 1.5lb anchor and tie on a cinder block.  Its windy out here!  should be a unique challenge.

Just got off the water from our Heroes on the Water Prefishing event.

Beautiful blue skies but the wind was a bit tough at times.

Bring heavy anchors for tomorrow!

By the way...the nets were in and there was still a ton of fish to be caught...and lost...whew...I'm beat.
