Thanks to Next Adventure for putting on another kick ass tournament!

Here's a shot of Spot and myself at the weigh-in.  You're welcome, LB and H.O.W.!

It was a honor to be in the winner's circle with the very guys whose seminar sucked me into salmon and kayak fishing just over a year ago.

It looks like the guts and gills are still intact in the weigh in pics...did they have to be gutted at NA? Seemed like a pain, wouldn't want to rinse in the Willy and had no running water at NA....

Quick stop by home for running water before I opened her up. Evidence around the scale indicated that there may have been a newb who got to weigh in with the fish intact  ;D

Please post fishing report with the stealth holder.

I should work up a little review. The short version is that I like it overall. There are some relatively minor things I'd change. I've used it on 6 outings now including a lake, a bay, the ocean, and a river, so I feel like I've put it through its paces. With the rod locked in it is very secure and I've had zero issues with it popping out on its own. It is also relatively easy to quick-release the rod, which I like. I've had no problems with any give in the materials trolling 6oz lead with full size salmon dodger and flasher, and in another case 4oz jigs in the ocean - i.e. the two-point rail fastening system and spline-mount base are plenty strong. The fit and finish of the parts was top-notch, honestly better than the "big name" brands I've bought. If I write a full review I'll go into my nits but again, they're pretty minor and don't really involve the functionality of the rod holder. If I had to only choose 1 rod holder for the rest of my life I'm not sure this would be it, but if you're looking for a rod holder for trolling that you can get out of quickly when you get a strike, this is a sure bet with a solid design and excellent finish.
