Eastside Springer Clinic at Next Adventure

To pair up with the Westside Springer Clinic at Hogg's, I'll be doing an Eastside Springer Clinic on Thursday, the 24th of this month at 7pm.

Come and hang out with us at the Next Adventure Paddle Sports Center (Located at SE 7th & SE Washington) as we discuss how to catch some of the hardest fighting and tastiest fish around from your kayak: Columbia and Willamette River Spring Chinook Salmon!
Fish are already being caught so come in and learn how to get yours!

Some of the main topics we will be covering are:

-Safety considerations, including what to wear and must-have gear
-Interpreting river conditions
-Fishing tackle and other gear you'll need
-What to look for in a rod and reel
-How, when, and where to use different types of lures
-Bait preparation
-Launch locations and on-the-water etiquette
-How to troll for salmon from a kayak
-How to fight and land a salmon from a kayak

Next Adventure will have be offering some discounts on some kayak fishing gear during the clinic.

This is a clinic for all skill types so there's something for everyone!

I was lucky enough to pick this fish up on the 5th of March this year.  Come hang out and I'll provide some more details on what it hit!

Probably no on pizza, although Sparky's is a block away. Yes on beer! This is the grand finale on the Thirsty Thursday clinic series for the season as far as kayak fishing goes so that means Hopworks will be kicking in some barley sodas!
