There is a great satellite view of Cape Kiwanda on Google Maps. The photo was taken when the water had good visibility, so lots of underwater detail can be seen. I have been trying to find an underwater topographical map of the area, but this is the best view I have found so far. It might help in determining the best places to fish. Does anyone know where the good fishing grounds are?

Looks like we will have a bit of a paddle to get to the good structure. Thanks for the link PS!

Looks like a half mile to the rock, turn right, paddle 1/4 mile and fish for a mile or more along the reef.  No too bad.

And, I agree, Thanks for the link Pisco!

If this link works, you'll see that there is a rock ridge that extends NNW from Haystack.

Sweeeet! Thanks for the tips, my buddy and I appreciate all the help we can glean.  This is going to be fun.  Sounds like some veteran anglers have been here!
