A PM from WR got me thinking that all you out-o-staters will need to know where and how to obtain an Oregon license.

I'd suggest 1,2 or 3 day licenses.  The short term licenses do not require the purchase of an additional tag for Salmon or Halibut.

1 Day = $12.00
2 Day = $22.50
3 Day = $33.00

You can get one by mail or FAX, but I'd just pick one up when you get across the border.  As well as at sporting goods stores, licenses can be obtained at Bi-Mart, Fred Meyer, K-Mart, True Value, Rite Aid.  You'll have many options for the purchase in every town between the border and the event site.

In addition to a fishing license, if you plan on doing any crabbing, you also need an Oregon shellfish permit. Resident is $6.50 for a year and non-resident is $9 for three days. I know some of you like to set a trap on the way out fishing.
