Ok...I just pulled the trigger and registered for the ORC 2017!  This is my first time and I cannot wait.  Takin the RV to Chinook Bend also.  I live in Depoe Bay so my commute will be short, take longer to move RV to camp!

It isn't a requirement to stay at the campground, right? My family and I will be staying at the Worldmark resort. Roughing it 5 star style. And my wife can watch me catch fish, and she will be able to see with her own eyes that I haven't become shark bait.

Stay where you want, it's all good.  Though if you can I highly recommend hanging around the campground from about 4PM on until as late as you can stand.  We'll be doing the fish taco feed, and following that will be the awards ceremony and raffle for the sponsor given prizes.

I usually aim for around 5PM to have the fish starting to come out of the fryers.  Check out the taco feed thread for more details.

Signed up and ready! Missed last year unfortunately, but this year is set! Can't wait to go back!

It blows my mind that we can not only keep canary rockfish now, but we can keep 7 of them, while at the same time we can only keep 6 blacks.
