I work at Vigor and was at our Swan Island facility today (all the dry docks and ships in Jurassic Park). Took a walk looking for the Kayaks and didn’t see y’all. How did you do?

I did figure out if I dont want to deal with the Kayak, I can fish off the dry dock if I am wearing hard hat and glasses 🤓

There were 5 of us out there today, from about 9:00 - 3:00. We spent most of our time around the corner from the dry dock next to the Navy trimaran. It was a beautiful day and we all caught fish!

A couple more pictures. I like the one with minnomagnet landing one in the background!  Several times we had three on at once.

I'm a fan of Kokatat drysuits. They're well designed and constructed, and Kokatat stands behind its products.  Because I do a lot of fishing and whitewater kayaking in below-freezing temperatures, I buy a drysuit big enough so I can wear many layers of clothing under it.  And I buy footgear which is two or three sizes larger than my street shoe size, so I can wear two or three pairs of thick socks under the drysuit's dry socks.

Are there any stores in Washington that you could go in and try some on?
Haven’t found any east of the mountains.

I second pmmpete, I'm too am a fan of Kokatat drysuits. They are expensive but if you have decided to kayak fish you are going to be using it for years and the cost per year makes it reasonable (bearable).
