Now that we have 10" of snow on the ground and temps in the single digits, I am forced indoors.  It gave me a chance to spool new line on my reel collection plus repair a Penn Fathom II that I finally received replacement parts for.  I want to build some kokanee rigs for next year.  I have all the components ordered, just need to block off some time.

What are you working on?

I just picked up an old rusty 12 foot long utility trailer.

Gotta rip it apart. Sand it all down, paint it, fix the lights on it, install new deck on it and build a kayak rack that can hold atleast 4 yaks!  :)

I'm working on a livescope mount that I can move between my power boat and kayak easily.

I think I mostly have it figured out, piecing together the best ideas I have found on YouTube and forums. The main thing I need is an adjustable length tube that will survive salt water. There are some aluminum tubes like on fishing nets that might work. I have a box put together that stores all the pieces and batteries and just has an on/off switch on it, and you just have to connect the network cable to the display. It's all working on the boat. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

I have made several livescope mounts utilizing PVC.  One for my kayaks, one for my Lund, and one ice fishing.  Based on 1" and 1-1/4" pipe.  I also duplicated a mobile case build which I followed the instructions on a ice fishing setup     which makes the unit easy to switch between boats.

So do you have two different mounts for your boats, and transfer the livescope between poles? I was hoping to avoid that.

I needed multiple poles because of the use.  One for my kayaks (short and interchangeable), one for my Lund (much longer), and one for ice fishing (needed a base to sit on the ice).  I utilized a 1 1/2 inch aluminum bar at the bottom of each to act as the attachment point for the transponder.  Each unit is sleeved so that I can rotate the Panoptix transponder.
