I'm up on Prince of Wales island kicking around fishing and working remotely for most of the month of June. Just curious if there are any NWKA-ers on the island that might want to meet up to fish? Goals for the trip are: 1. catch a halibut from the kayak, 2. don't die, 3. catch some spot prawn from the kayak. 4. King over 20 lbs, 5. Sockeye!

So far I've pulled up probably 10 yellow-eye and 100 pounds of whelks (pulling shrimp pots with my little scotty lake troller down rigger....it's horrible). The yellow-eye are cool to see, but getting them back down to depth has been kinda a pain (and I don't like harassing them honestly, fish older than my grandparents should be left alone IMO). I'm working through Monday then headed out to one of the forest service cabins. My cell service is non-existent, and wifi access is spotty so it might take me a bit to get back to you. Also open to tips  ;D
