Let's get the party started with a fantastic local company. Work Sharp tool is located in Ashland Oregon and produces one of the best knife and tool sharpeners on the market.

I have mine parked on the kitchen counter for quick access but will bring it along to the fillet station at the lake for all to use while I'm cleaning fish. People are always surprised at how quick and easy it is to use.

The 2023 Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament donation includes an electric MK.2 Knife and Tools Sharpener as well as a Guided Field Sharpener for keeping an edge on the go.

Thank you Sasha for the great donation.

Visit https://www.worksharptools.com/ to see their products and find out more about their company.

Skwoosh sent the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament a cushy donation this year.

These cushions are super handy and compact. Their gel packed cushions will add comfort to any seat you find yourself in. My family loves taking them to events and Judo practice.

The donation is a Paddling Cushion and a Fishing chair Seat Pad.

Visit their site to find gear that has your back at https://skwoosh.com/

Thank you for the great prizes Annie.

Pleased to welcome The Fish Grip to the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament prize table this year.

This tool is an absolute must for kayak anglers. It allows you to hang on to a fish with hooks hanging out of their mouths while thrashing in your lap. There is no where to run so gaining control is the by far the least painful option.

I will also use fish grips as a kayak live well while moving to the bank to take some pix if I plan to release my catch.

The Original Fish Grips are built tough and made in America.

The only problem I've ever had with them is due to operator error. I know I am not the only one that has lost a grip to a powerful fish and lack of attention😆

Visit https://www.thefishgrip.net/ to find the Original Fish Grip.

Thank you for the awesome donation Mr. Hoge.

I just made my reservation at the Holcomb RV Park.  The lady said there were not a lot of spots left, so if you want one you better call soon.

The phone number through March is 541-524-7480.  After that it goes to the one listed on the Brownlee announcement.
The two best times to fish is when it’s raining and when it ain’t. -Patrick McManus

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

I'm in Tent site 3, the 18th to 21st.
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
