Bay fishing dates and times per tide, these do NOT take into account weather, only doable tides. Launch is about 2 hours before low tide.
Fish at your own risk, my advise is fish with at least one other person, and feel free to post if your trying for a day, I’ll post up my intentions as well.

I'm going to be in the area next week so I might try on Friday the 21st. Where do you normally launch from? I use an inflatable kayak. Hobie iTrek 11. Should I be worried about going out in that if I stay in the bay?

Behind the fish cleaning station for launch, you should be fine on the I11. My crew may be able to join. Gotta keep an eye on the weather.

Your inflatable should work great.  Just make sure you are using the tide to your advantage and not going against it.  I like launching 1-2 hours before low tide, fish through the low slack tide then ride the incoming tide back in.  There should be a lot of info in the search function for fishing Tillamook Bay.  If you don’t find what you are looking for, be sure to ask.
The two best times to fish is when it’s raining and when it ain’t. -Patrick McManus

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

That would be awesome if I could tag along with you or anyone else. Especially for my first time out on the bay. Let me know, thanks.

All

I will be out on Tillamook Bay on Monday (24) and Tuesday (25) for the low tides.
ODFW shows acceptable levels 62 PST 6/14 for shellfish.
Launch from the ramp two hours before low tide

First stop for cockles
Drop pots lower bay
Bottom fish
