Anyone else looking way out to Wednesday? Looks pretty nice at this point. If the forecast stays, I will probably hit Fogarty.

I'll fish it if it holds. Big "if" this time of the year of course.

The freezer holds more salmon than white fish this year. Need to balance things out a bit!

My view of conditions doesn’t make it to Sat but if it is still that good, definitely up for another freezer run!!

Clayman sure was right about unpredictable forecasts!
First pic was from this morning, 2nd from just now. It changed a lot!

What app is that? I would like to add it to my pile of sources.

Looks like the forecast is holding and conditions should be pretty great. Looking at hitting Fogarty around 7:30. Anyone else heading out?

One observation that I noticed over few years when checking forecasts, is that Surf-forecast tends to be more on the optimistic side, where Windy is the opposite. It gives a good balance to gauge what the actual conditions might be.

Yup! Got almost all of my Thanksgiving cooking done, so taking advantage of the conditions. Same issue as Clayman. Too much orange and not enough white in the freezer  :)

Depends on the weather model you are picking, ECMWF is always not so optimistic, but switch to GFS is much nicer. GFS seems more accurate on the west coast, ECMWF is more accurate on the East Coast from my experience.

I always compare the 2 and usually if both model are forecast the similar trend, then it's very accurate on GFS on the west coast, and more accurate on ECMWF, if both are giving opposite results, then usually the one with bad result wins.

I'm hoping to get out Friday 11/29 if the forecast looks good.
