Paddleboard Fishing

Not exactly ideal for fishing in the PNW but a heck of a way to sneak up on fish. Great photos and video.

That set-up reminds me of a guy I'd see out in Hawaii all the time in the 80's.  He would sit in a lawn chair with a cooler and his fishing rod on the deck.  On the way in, he'd use his paddle to steer while riding a wave.

funny just last night hit up polepole with something similar; Diablo has a hybrid SUP YAK that is finally in retail, 10 foot and 12.5 ft models. was thinking that one of them would be great for feather casting on smaller lakes etc....

Fished off mine a few years back. Perfect for those calm days for sight fishing

you can also use it to teach your puppy how to swim 

....or even use it as a transport for your boat-in camping trips
