On the 25th of January! Waiting for the monster run to commence! Run, my pretties! Run!

Yeah, I'm a little excited...

I spoke with a heavily tattoo plunker at meldrum bar near Oregon City on Friday who said two of his plunker buddies hooked into Springers last week. He said 1 was off of meldrum bar and the other was near the mouth of the Clackamas. Not a totally reliable source though. The dude was also burning trash and sporting tattoos across his knuckles that read "fear" "less". I'm still not sure what I was more intrigued by. :)

The tattooed man has appeared. His knuckles did not say "fish" "less". It is a sign I say.

There are always some around this time of year and once the Willamette drops you will start hearing of springers being caught.  Brine those herring ;D

Git Em!  Heading to Drano!

I know they start picking them up in the Willamette and lower Columbia about this time but crossing the Dam?  Jan 25 seems pretty early. Hope an early start means a big run.  It would be great to see a lot of fish over Bonneville before the lower river fishing opens.
