Was browsing NRS a little bit ago and this popped up. Immediately thought of the few on here who'd expressed interested in the past

That's a great idea for a drift-boat.I'd be curious how it handles on the water, weight of boat, frame, and all the accessories and other stuff.
$6000 is a lot of money for a blow up boat.I'll have to look for some reviews.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

From someone with countless hours on the sticks I guess I want to know...Whats the point? Other than being able to deflate and store it in a much smaller space than a traditional driftboat?  For that kind of coin a guy could have a custom aluminum driftboat built with all the bells and whistles (including trailer)  that would last a lifetime and fish like a drift boat should. IF a guy is fishing bigger water where pinballing rocks (and god forbid denting your driftboat ;D) is a serious issue than a cat or a self bailing raft would seem a better option to me.

It is for the kayak fisherman who is in love with putting his boat together in the parking lot of every launch you go to.
But seriously did you see how easily it fit in the bed of the pick up?!? Only needed two guys to get it out of the truck and got to play a round of IKEA furniture building while it inflated.

Ron,
I think you hit it on the head. Probably for those with very limited storage. Coulld also see it fitting into an alpine camping trip where you could drive a truck up there but dragging a trailer would be a cast iron bitch.
Who knows for sure? Saw it, knew it might interest someone here, shared it.

Wow $6000, I only paid $7000 for my Clackacraft high side 3 years ago with a galvanized trailer, a blow up drift boat is a great idea for storage and also for shipping to odd places in the world, but I think I'll stick with a hard sided boat, " Fear No Rock".
If it wasn't for flashbacks, I'd have no memories at all.
